From Romance Reviews Today:

"THE RAKE'S REFLECTION is rich in characterization and relationships. Rupert is a complex man with a spotted past, but he's not a villain; he has good friends, and he had already begun his rehabilitation when Delia entered his life. His past with his father and brother is thoroughly plumbed. He becomes real in the process, and his need for love makes him a sympathetic hero. Delia is intelligent, giving, moral and very likable. So is Charles, Rupert's younger brother, a clergyman in love with a young lady whose father looks down on him because of Rupert's bad reputation. This complication is well developed alongside the primary plot, and Charles is only one of several strong minor characters.

Along with the intensity and suspense over the terrible dilemma, THE RAKE'S REFLECTION is not without its lighter moments. The repartee between Delia and Rupert is filled with intelligence, humor and sensuality.

Ms. McLeod is the author of another Regency romance I recently had the pleasure of reviewing, CLEMMIE'S MAJOR, also from Awe-Struck. I highly recommend both these excellent books."

"riveting tale"  ~  "unique"  ~  "delightful Regency tale"
From Timeless Tales:

"This is a delightful Regency tale. Rupert and Delia end up traveling all over to try to solve the mystery of Delia's father, fighting their attraction all the time. Rupert has been a rake in his past, and he also has to deal with living that down. Rupert undergoes quite a change in this tale. He has to come to grips with his hatred for his father and is forced to take a good long hard look at the life he has led to this point, and what he has to do to become an upstanding member of the ton. Delia has to deal with fighting her attraction to her half-brother, which eventually takes a toll on her health. Even the secondary characters of Charles and the staff were all wonderfully portrayed. This is definitely a book that I can recommend to anyone that enjoys a good Regency."

From Scribblers @ iBookTime.com:

"Unique. THE RAKE'S REFLECTION allows the main characters many opportunities for more intimacy because of their relationship. Bittersweet. Rupert and Cordelia may end apart for their love would be a sin. Truth. As the past becomes the present, the future melds in a combined effort to provide happiness for all."
